Membership Right and Membership Procedures
The conditions sought for the main members of the association are stated below.
Primary Membership;
1-To be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey.
2-To have graduated from a health vocational high school and to have their diplomas approved by the Ministry of Health as “Anesthetic Technician”.
3-To have graduated from the “Anesthetic or Anesthesia Technician” department of a health vocational college.
4-To be working by following any diploma/certificate education in the field of anesthesiology and re-animation.
5-Not to be banned from public services.
6-To accept to pay the annual membership fee determined by the General Assembly of the Association.
7-To have the capacity to use civil rights, to be over 18 years of age.
8-To not have any obstacles to being a permanent or continuous founder and member of the association according to the Associations Law.
9- There is no provision to the contrary in special laws.
10- Students studying in the anesthesia program can become members of our association, participate in the general assembly, cannot be candidates in the general assembly and cannot vote.
Principles of Honorary Membership
These are members whose closeness to the association is determined and whose selection is considered an advantage and honor for the association and who are given the title of “Honorary Membership” by the Board of Directors. Unlike full members, these members do not have the right to elect or be elected. They can give the floor to those who want to speak at all kinds of meetings in order to be in the nature of a request and to benefit from their ideas. They can benefit from all kinds of opportunities of the association. If they wish, they can pay dues like other members.
Membership Principles;
Those who want to become members of the association will apply for candidate membership by filling out the introduction and commitment declaration containing the signatures of two full members and the membership information form. The Board of Directors and association members may invite new members to membership under these conditions.
Every real person who has the legal capacity, who has adopted the association's purpose and principles and agreed to work in this direction, and who has the conditions stipulated by the legislation and the full membership conditions specified in Article 3 has the right to become a member of the association. The membership application to be made in writing to the Association Presidency shall be decided by the association's board of directors within a maximum of thirty days as acceptance or rejection of the request and the result shall be notified to the applicant in writing. In case of rejection of the application; the Board of Directors is not obliged to provide a reason. The member whose application is accepted shall be recorded in the book to be kept for this purpose.
Member's Duties;
To recognize and promote the association as the highest institution of the profession;
To regularly fulfill commitments to the association;
To share knowledge, experience and opinions with colleagues who are united around the same goals;
To regularly assist and assist in the collection of information requested by the Board of Directors or relevant committees;
To support with professional activities and participation in committee studies;
Any real or legal person who has the legal capacity to act and who accepts to work in line with the purposes and principles of the association and who meets the conditions stipulated by the legislation has the right to become a member of this association. These conditions are not required for honorary membership.
A membership application made in writing to the association chairmanship is decided by the association board of directors within a maximum of thirty days as acceptance or rejection of the request and the result is notified to the applicant in writing. The member whose application is accepted is recorded in the book to be kept for this purpose.
The main members of the association are the founders of the association and the persons accepted as members by the board of directors upon their application.
Those who have provided significant material and moral support to the association may be accepted as honorary members by the decision of the board of directors.
When a branch of the association is opened, the membership records of those registered at the association center are transferred to the branches. New membership applications are made to the branches. The procedures for acceptance and deletion from membership are carried out by the branch boards of directors and are notified to the General Directorate in a maximum of thirty days in writing.
Resignation from Membership
Article 4 - Every member has the right to resign from the association, provided that they notify in writing.
The resignation process is considered to be completed when the member's resignation letter reaches the board of directors. Resignation from membership does not end the member's accumulated debts to the association.
Removal from Membership
Article 5 - Circumstances that require removal from association membership:
Behaving in violation of the association's bylaws,
Continuously avoiding assigned duties,
Failure to pay membership dues within six months despite written warnings,
Failure to comply with decisions made by the association's organs,
Having lost the conditions for membership.
A member may be removed from membership by decision of the board of directors if one of the above-mentioned situations is detected. Those who resign or are removed from the association are deleted from the member registry and cannot claim rights to the association's assets.
