Değerli Üyelerimiz
Geçtiğimiz günlerde, İFNA (International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists) ile iletişim halinde olacağımızı değerli üyelerimize duyurmuştuk. İlkemiz mesleğimizin hak ettiği normlara kavuşması ve sadece ulusal değil uluslara arası çalışmalara başlamaktır. Bu çerçevede İFNA Executive Director Pascal ROD tarafından gönderilen maili sizlerle paylaşmak istedik.
İFNA sözcüsü özetle Türkiye yi temsilen bir kuruluş olması ve iletişime geçmemizden dolayı oldukça mutlu olduklarını bildirmiş ve Derneğimizin İFNA üyesi olma yolunda atması gereken adımları bildirmişlerdir. Bu güzel gelişmeyiz tüm üyelerimize bildirir, gelişmelerden siz değerli üyelerimizi haberdar etmeye devam edeceğimizi bildiririz.

Thank you for contacting us. We are glad to have contacts in Turkey. The International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists (IFNA) is a federation of national associations of nurse anesthetists. We are currently 40 country members. It is with pleasure that we would consider your application for membership to the IFNA. In terms of membership as you ca, read on our website, we have 2 categories depending on your status. We are promoting the Nurse Anesthesia model , meaning additional education in anesthesia specialty to nursing basic education.I don’t know what the situation is in turkey concerning the specialty as you are referring yourself to technicians. If you are health workers with a nursing background and a specialisation in anesthesia you can apply for full membership, but if you are technicians without any nursing background, you can only apply for associate membership as our colleagues from Tunisia. If you can give me some details about your education and the situation of nurses working in anesthesia in your country, we can then look at which category of membership you can apply. In terms of participation to the IFNA activities , there is no difference, it is only in terms of elligibility to elected functions and voting privileges that as associate members there is a difference.i am looking forward to hearing from you, Best regards
